Nice piece. It touches my primary area that f interest too.
My worry and most small farmers worries compounds as lack of value put on their produce.
Lots of capital and physical efforts are put in through the farming season, only to take their produce e.g tomatoes, yams, plantains, pepper, maize etc to the market and have them priced annoyingly. Too cheap!
Apart from this disenchanting small and aspiring farmers, it also leave them wondering.
Could we please find time to address this in this very informative and enlightening platform.

This area remains largely untapped in our country. It has the potential to provide jobs for millions of unemployed youths while also supporting the government’s drive for diversification of the economy which has depended mainly on oil revenue for so many years. It could be the game changer.
